Getting pressure on the quarterback is vital and nanos allow for this kind of pressure. A good pass rush will cause the offense to feel uncomfortable and often times can cause a bad throw or bad decision.
To counter your blitzes, the offense will use different pass protections to ensure their quarterback as time to throw.
In this video we cover both a 34 Under nano blitz as well as how to protect against this nano.

In this Madden 16 tip we discuss running the ball. As I pointed out with my Inside Zone breakdown, running the ball is the key to success in Madden 16. If you can control the clock, keep your opponent honest, and score almost every time you get the rock you will be dominant in this year’s game. The run game allows for all of this to happen.
When taking the hand off from the quarterback, it is important not to slam on the turbo button. This year more so than ever, the turbo button causes you to lose control of your running back as you diagnose the defense and make a cut into a hole.
By laying off of the turbo button you have much greater control and can avoid would be tacklers to break big gains in the run game.
Check out this Quick Tip breakdown below that illustrated these points.
Running the ball is crucial in Madden 16. If you can run the ball effectively not only can you score points, but you keep the ball away from your opponent. Without the football, a team can’t score. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense.
In this Madden 16 tip we take a look at the inside zone against a 34 defense.
The key to this runs success is being able to read the combo block on the nose tackle. The backside guard and center will need to combo to the backside middle linebacker. Reading this block is crucial in effectively running the inside zone in Madden 16.
With this breakdown you are sure to have an effective rushing attack. Add this run into your explosive shotgun offense and you will dominate on the gridiron.

It is absolutely crucial to hit the lab hard and have a plan when Madden 16 releases. To help all of you out I have created a video that discusses the three most important components of labbing in the first few weeks of the Madden 16 release. These Madden tips are integral and should not be taken lightly. Stick to the plan and you will surely be a force this year in Madden 16.
To supplement this list, I have added four other essential components. Check them out down below.
1. Understand the offensive line: Understand how the offensive line adjusts to overloads when pass blocking and how they make adjustments to different fronts in the run game. This will allow you to attack any defense in the run game, adjust to blitzes in the pass game and will help you develop blitzes of your own.
2. Learn to stop the run and build your defense around that: After you understand how the offensive line works, you can develop a defense to attack both the pass and the run effectively. You need to be able to stop both from the same defense.
3. Choose a playbook and develop an offense: The specific playbook will vary depending on your play style but here are some things to keep in mind… Be able to run the ball, have effective long range passing out of your playbook, and be able to pass and run from the same formations.
4. Practice your user vs a friend: Get online or live with someone you know and practice usering on offense and contesting the user on defense. These skills are vital to master.
Mastering these aspects of the game will ultimately lead to your success in Madden 16.
Let’s talk team ratings in Madden 16. Do those actual overall numbers matter? Not really.
Certain players have a particular set of skills … kinda like Liam Neeson in Taken.
For instance speed and height at the wide receiver position along with catch and catch in traffic ratings all matter much more than a players overall rating.
On the defensive line, strength, block shed, and speed also come into play. A team doesn’t have to be rated highly overall to be a great team to use in competitive head to head matches. You just have to know what to look for.
Lucky for you, I did your homework for you.
Here is my list of best teams in Madden 16.
