That’s right… as I was afraid of the Madden 15 play call screen is officially broken and full of glitches. I thought it would have been fixed over the past few days but apparently it has not been.
Shame on you EA!
How does something so simple… so easily noticed… so blatant … and so fundamental make it this far into the development process? I just don’t get it.
It’s either that EA Sports is incompetent or they just don’t care. Or a mix of the two, which is probably more likely.
I highlighted some flaws in the play call screen in a video I did two days ago while playing the “Pre-Early” Access, if you will.
The problems still exist and the game is slated to officially drop 8/26.
What I ask of you… Share this video! All of you!

I am sick of the way EA has done things over the years and this is the last straw. As a consumer I am pissed off and you should be too. Just have a look….
Here are some details regarding the above video and what is actually happening.
The first part lists the wrong plays in the wrong formation. It wasn’t as if random plays were listed in the formation… it is more so that when I select a specific formation (in this instance Nickel Big) it lists all of the play for another formation (in this instance Nickle Normal). The same thing happened to me the game previous to this one. Dime was listed in 3-4 in hat instance. To fix this problem, you have to hit B until you completely exit the playbook. Then re-enter the playbook.
The second part… During special teams the B button was not responding. I wasn’t purposely choosing punt. I was trying to get out of the punt section of my playbook and go into my regular defensive plays but it wouldn’t let me. Then when I called a time out it only gave me three seconds to pick a play. The clock is only supposed to run once the offense picks a play and it is supposed to be 10 seconds long. In this case the offense did not pick a play and the clock began counting down immediately and started at 3 seconds. At this point I ran off sides and finally the “B” button was responsive and allowed me to choose an actual play. So it cost me a time out and 5 yards.
The last part shows an audible mishap where every formation is listed as “Strong Close” so you don’t know what play you are actually audibling to, especially if the same play is in multiple formations.. For example: Power O, Stick, Bench. This has also happened to me in practice mode where the formation listed is actually blank. You can see that in this video as well at the 1:00 mark.
Again, I urge you to share this (multiple times if you have to!) and tag EA Sports in every post. Get their attention. If they have 1 million tags to the same issue and problem they can’t ignore it!
